“He’s Coming Home?” – Celtic in Talks to Bring Back Moussa Dembélé in Stunning Summer Reunion
Could Paradise be set for one of the most emotional homecomings in recent memory?
Sources close to the club have revealed that Celtic have opened exploratory talks to bring back fan-favourite Moussa Dembélé this summer. The French striker, now 28, is reportedly unsettled in Saudi Arabia and open to a return to Europe—with Glasgow firmly in his heart.
Following Kyogo Furuhashi’s recent move to Rennes, Brendan Rodgers is said to be targeting a proven goal-scorer, and Dembélé’s name has quietly resurfaced at Lennoxtown.
An insider told us:
“Rodgers still rates him highly. He knows exactly what Moussa can bring, on and off the pitch.”
And now, even Dembélé himself has added fuel to the fire. In a recent Instagram Q&A, he responded to a fan asking about Celtic with:
“Celtic will always be special to me. Never say never.”
He also liked a tweet showing his famous hat-trick vs Rangers—fans didn’t miss a thing.
During his electric spell from 2016–2018, Dembélé bagged 51 goals in 94 appearances, including unforgettable moments that turned him into a modern Celtic icon.
With influential figures like Callum McGregor and even Joe Hart reportedly in support of the move, the dressing room wouldn’t need long to welcome him back.
Social media is already buzzing, with fans posting throwback clips and begging the club to “bring him home.”
Could we be on the verge of “Dembélé Day Part II”?
